Sky

the sky's eyes gleamed
they twinkled
but only I could see them
they shimmered in beauty
I blinked in astonishment
I was glued to the ground
on which I lied upon
I wish the night would never disappear
never gone
My eyes gleam
they twinkle too
I feel the magic fill up inside me
I float in the lights
of the night sky
the sky smiles at me
I swirl up above
Laughing away
the sky laughed along
and we sang a song
I was gently floated down
and I stood, smiling and bewildered
the sky smiles
I wave farewell
it waves back
we part
earth and sky
heart and heart
